  • How are TCR Clinic therapists different than others?
At TCR Clinic we believe strongly in a holistic approach. We not only address your injury, but also lifestyle, mental state and other factors that may contribute to pain or injury. We believe strongly in hands-on and interdisciplinary health care aiming to improve your injury and overall well-being. We collaborate as team, if necessary, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Do I need a doctor’s referral to receive treatment at your clinics?
You do not need a referral for most of our services. However, if you have extended health care, you should check to see if they require one when submitting receipts for reimbursement.
  • I’m not sure if your services are right for me. How do I learn more?
If you have questions about any of our services, please contact us. We’re here to help, and together we’ll figure out if you can benefit from our wide range of treatments. Contact us at Tel: 416-921-2736 Fax: 416-921-2526 info@tcrclinic.com
  • What should I expect at my first visit?
The first visit is always an assessment and treatment. We’ll ask questions, watch how you move and explain treatment for your injury or cause of pain as well as start the treatment.
  • What is the cost of treatment?
Cost depends on the type and duration of treatment. Our clinic offers direct billing, so if your insurance allows, the cost of the treatment may be paid directly to the clinic by your insurance.
  • How should I prepare for my visit?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. You will be sent intake and consent forms prior to your visit, so ensure you have these filled out before arriving at the clinic. Alternatively, you can fill out paper copies of the forms when you arrive at the clinic. Bring our benefits card and a piece of ID if you would like us to direct bill to your insurance company. Bring your referral (if you were referred by your doctor). A referral is not necessary if you do not have one/your insurance does not require one. Be sure to dress comfortably for your appointment as you will be asked to move around a lot. For upper body issues, it is best to wear a tank top. For lower body issues, it is best to wear shorts.
